You can permanently delete your Mentulis account and everything stored with it. There is no waiting period, and you do not need to contact us first.
This is the fastest route and takes less than a minute.
Your account is removed immediately.
If you want to clear everything you have written without losing your account:
This erases your mood check-ins, journal entries, self-check results, thought records, worry journal and gratitude entries. Your account and sign-in stay exactly as they were, so you can carry on with a clean slate.
If you have already uninstalled the app, or you cannot sign in, email us and we will delete the account for you.
Email hello@mentulis.com from the address you used to sign up, with the subject “Account deletion request”.
We will confirm within 30 days, and in most cases within a few working days. We may ask you to confirm from your registered email address so that nobody else can delete your account.
None of this is recoverable afterwards. If you want to keep a copy, generate a PDF summary first from Tools → Share with therapist.
Your conversations with the Companion are never stored — not on your phone and not on our servers. Each message is sent, answered and discarded. There is no chat history to delete.
Your mood check-ins, journal and self-check results live on your phone, not on our servers. Uninstalling the app removes them with it.
If you turned on Google Drive backup, that copy lives in your own Google account, not ours, so deleting your Mentulis account does not remove it. To delete it, go to Google Drive → Settings → Manage apps, find Mentulis, and choose Delete hidden app data.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it separately — on Android in the Play Store under Payments & subscriptions, on iOS under Settings → your name → Subscriptions — or you may continue to be billed.
We do not keep a shadow copy of deleted accounts. Data is removed from our live systems immediately and purged from routine encrypted backups within 30 days. We retain nothing beyond that, except where the law requires it.
